Saint Bernard Academy is an independent, Catholic coeducational school, dually accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) educating students in Kindergarten through eighth level.
At SBA we believe that each child is created by God, and uniquely endowed with his/her own talents. The learning styles of students within each academic group or class impact each teacher's method of instruction and assessment. Various methods of assessment appropriate to content area and grade level are used to ensure the advancement of knowledge, expansion of understanding and increased ability to apply that knowledge and understanding to real world scenarios and challenges.
